PSF   Mysore completed   321 weeks of weekend  Eco-litercay campaign during 2000-2010. One the pioneering   work  was promotion of an informal Environmental Education model  EESS. Ecological and Environmental Studies by Students(EESS)  was developed by a team of Scientists/Engineers at ISRO led by Prof V Jagannatha, Scientist/Engineer ISRO now  HUDCO Chair at SIUD ATI Mysore. EESS model was cited as one of the 20 best eco –education model by the Earth Day Network in 2000 and circulated to over 194 countries in 2000. PSF went on to create awareness on various issues such as water, pollution, Plastics abuse free life style by physically lifting plastic waste from the shores of Kukkarahally Lake shores in Mysore, S India. House to house campaigns on World Water Day and talulk level eco litercay activities and surveys on pollution for Pollution Control Board. One of the street play Plastic Demon  by PSF was deployed by the Year of Scientific Awareness in India as a Puppet Show during 2004.  PSF thus provided over 4500 man-hours involving more than 300 volunteers in 321 weeks spread over 10 years  2000-2010 and related eco literacy activities are at www.psf.4t.com.
